Libra – Liberal Right Alternative

10-Point Program

Libra Manifesto – Our European and International Commitment

1. Freedom and Responsibility as a Foundation

We believe that individual freedom and personal responsibility are the cornerstones of every free society. Europe must defend these values against authoritarian tendencies, overregulation, and censorship.

  • Strengthening civil rights and freedom of speech within EU treaties
  • International defense of human rights and property rights

2. A lean, efficient government

European institutions must return to their core tasks: facilitating, not dominating. We advocate a return to the principle of subsidiarity.

  • Reform of EU bureaucracy
  • International cooperation on deregulation and market-oriented reforms

3. Free market and entrepreneurship

Economic freedom is the engine of innovation and prosperity. We defend the single market and oppose protectionism and state intervention.

  • Strengthening the European single market
  • Free trade agreements with liberal clauses

4. Activation over passivity

Social systems must encourage people to realize their potential. We advocate a meritocratic approach to work and welfare.

  • Work-oriented social policy within the EU
  • International exchange on labor mobility and skills development

5. Migration with reciprocity

Migration must be manageable, fair, and reciprocal. Rights go hand in hand with responsibilities, and the ability to integrate is essential.

  • Harmonization of migration policy within the EU
  • International cooperation on return policy and conditionality

6. Rule of Law and Security

A free society requires a strong rule of law. We advocate a firm approach to crime, cross-border threats, and cybersecurity.

  • Strengthening Frontex and judicial cooperation
  • International support for democratic states governed by the rule of law

7. Neutrality of the State

The government must remain neutral on matters of ideology. We defend the separation of religion and state as a universal principle.

  • Secular principles in EU legislation
  • Diplomatic efforts for religious neutrality worldwide

8. Freedom of lifestyle and expression

Every citizen must be free to shape their own life. We oppose censorship, peer pressure, and ideological indoctrination.

  • Protection of a free press and cultural expression
  • International support for NGOs that defend freedom

9. Climate policy without dogma

We believe in technological solutions and rational choices. Climate policy must be effective, not ideological.

  • Investing in innovation such as nuclear energy and hydrogen
  • Realistic climate agreements with global partners

10. European engagement without ideological surrender

We believe in European cooperation, but not in centralization. Europe must return to its liberal core: freedom, subsidiarity, and sovereignty.

  • Critical participation in EU policy
  • Selective multilateral cooperation with respect for national autonomy
